*** CONSTRUCTION NOTICE ***

If you are coming from the EAST of Stevenson, State Route 14 will have construction delays/closures!!

The Washington State Department of Transportation will be conducting a Rockfall Mitigation Construction Project on State Route 14, on two sections, begining on March 1, 2010 through September, 2010. You can expect closures and delays, during the business week, and minor delays (due to one lane traffic) on the weekends. The area in questions will be Dog Mountian (mileposts 53.75 & 54.12) and in the White Salmon area (mile posts 63.55 & 63.70). You can expect 20 minutes delays, or complete road closures, in the Dog Mountain area during the work week/weekends.

An alternate route to Stevenson (if you are coming from the East) will be Interstate 84 (in Oregon) to the Bridge of the Gods in Cascade Locks, Oregon.
